Policies and Procedures
Attendance: Choir members must maintain consistent attendance at rehearsals in order to be eligible to sing in performances. Concert Choir members may miss a maximum of two rehearsals during a semester (September to December or January to May). Extra makeup rehearsals are provided periodically each month in order to make up absences at regular Monday rehearsals. Attendance at final rehearsals leading up to performances are mandatory. Choir members must make a year-long commitment to the choir.
At-Home Practice: Choir members are expected to practice at home (with the aid of a customized practice CD included in tuition) in order to learn all of the required repertoire. As a guideline, choir members should expect to practice 10 minutes per day but may be asked to do more at the director’s discretion.
