Sharon Scanland has a wealth of teaching experience in both private and public schools. Sharon has a Bachelors Degree in English Literature and a minor in French from Brigham Young University; Sharon also has a K-8 teaching credential certificate from the States of Utah and Washington. Sharon served a mission to Franco, Belgium and speaks French fluently. A mother of 4 grown children, she and her husband Roger have a great love for their family. Sharon loves to garden, read, and travel. As a lover of music, she is an organist, pianist and singer. Sharon returned to American Heritage school in 2006 previously having taught under the AHS administration of Geneve Cornell Deuel as a 6th and 7th grade teacher.
