Deborah Hobbs was born to a wonderful family in Shelley, Idaho, and raised on a potato farm where she learned the value of hard work and the worth of souls. She attended Ricks College and Brigham Young University where she received her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and received her Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy from Benedictive University. Mrs. Hobbs has five children,15 grandchildren, and more precious spirits coming to love and grow with.

Mrs. Hobbs has enjoyed teaching for fifteen years, grades preschool-3 and as a reading specialist in private and public schools. She has shared her love for dance by teaching tap, ballet, and clogging to children and adults for five years. Having lived in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Virginia, Nebraska, and Hawaii, and having visited Europe twice, Mrs. Hobbs loves to travel and see the wonderful creations of the Lord and visit with other choice people around the world. Mrs. Hobbs enjoys teaching at American Heritage School and feels that she was lead and prepared for this opportunity and prays continually for the spirit to guide and direct her in order to be an instrument in his hands in educating the hearts, minds, and bodies of the students and parent of American Heritage School.
