Timothy Ballard received his BA in Spanish and Political Science Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a MA in International Politics from Middlebury College-Monterey Institute of International Studies. Tim has worked for the Central Intelligence Agency and as a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security, where he has spent much time overseas battling criminal organizations involved in the kidnapping and trafficking of children. He has also worked as an adjunct professor of American and International Politics at Imperial Valley College and at San Diego State University. He is the best-selling author of The Covenant: One Nation Under God, as well as the American Covenant series. He has appeared on several national radio and television programs, and has been a guest-host for The BlazeTV—Glenn Beck Program. Tim is also regularly featured in the new television series The Nephite Explorer, which airs on K-Jazz TV. Tim is active in the LDS Church and volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America. He lives in Southern California with his wife and six children.
