Ashlee has loved languages since her first Spanish class in 7th grade and has studied them ever since. She attended BYU where she studied ASL and graduated with a major in Spanish and a minor in Portuguese. She then took a break from her studies to serve a mission in Latvia and Estonia speaking Russian. After her mission, Ashlee began coursework for a master's degree in Hispanic Linguistics. Part of the coursework included teaching Spanish classes, which instantly became one of Ashlee's favorite things to do, along with playing pinochle. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what she loves here at AHS and is excited to share her love of languages with the students.
