Mr. Willis was born in Florida to wonderful non-LDS parents. He has more than 25 years of experience in the field of information systems, having worked for a large life insurance company, IBM, the FAA, and others. He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while attending college at Florida State University and has loved the restored Gospel ever since. After serving a full-time mission in Boston he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business at Nova Southeastern University. Later he earned an MBA in Technology Management. While working full-time he has also enjoyed teaching Computer Science classes at community colleges in Minnesota and Alaska. "We live in a special time of emerging technologies coupled with a rapid pace of change. These technologies have allowed the work of the Lord to roll forth in a broader manner than otherwise possible, particularly in the area of family history work," he says. Participation in the Church's FamilySearch Indexing program is a rewarding experience for him. Mr. Willis also enjoys playing racquetball to stay fit physically and likes to play chess to engage the mind.
