Mrs. Leann Brinton grew up on south Whidbey Island, Washington, where she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing basketball, hiking, biking, camping and running. Leann holds her middle school’s record in the 800-meter run and her high school’s records in the 800-meter, 1600-meter and 4x400 relay team races. She won the AAA Washington State championship in the mile run in 1998. She went on to run for the cross country and indoor and outdoor track teams at Harvard, where she graduated with a B.A. in English Literature in 2002. While at Harvard, Leann met her husband, Jon. They have four children: Allie, Sarah, Ben and Eliza. They have lived in Massachusetts, Virginia, Salt Lake City, Bountiful and, most recently, American Fork, near American Heritage School. Leann loves keeping physically fit, especially lifting weights, running (after children!), kickboxing, yoga, and all sports. She also enjoys cooking and eating healthy food, reading beautiful literature, and raising her family in the Gospel. Welcome, Mrs. Brinton!
