Sixth Grade Teacher (FT) (posted 2/21/17): Minimum two-years' experience, preferably in formal elementary school setting. Bachelors degree or higher preferred. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, love of teaching, love of the Restored Gospel, and be willing and able to uphold the AHS Mission, Honor Code and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Accompanist / Music Assistant 7-12 (PT/Hourly) (Posted 6/23/2017): Ability to sight-read/play moderately difficult piano music and assist in classroom teaching and administration. Experience playing the organ preferred. Knowledge of basic vocal pedagogy is desirable. Must have an enduring love of children and love of teaching. Must be supportive of the school’s LDS-oriented environment, and be willing and able to uphold and serve as a public representative of the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus.

Part-time/Hourly Custodial (posted 06/12/17). We are seeking part-time custodial help to begin in the summer months and possibly into the school year. Compensation for all custodial positions includes competitive salary based on experience. Summer Youth Custodial (posted 06/12/2017). Plan on 29 hours a week/$8.00 hr. We are seeking part-time custodial help for the summer months. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, moving furniture, cleaning and outside maintenance. Teacher’s Aide/Substitute Teacher (PT/Hourly): Preferable experience in formal school setting. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Open Teaching Positions (K-3, 4-6, 7-12, FT and PT) are posted as they become available. Applications, including cover letter and resume, are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year and may be submitted prior to open positions being announced. If you are interested in teaching at AHS apply early (January-April is ideal for upcoming fall)—even if you do not see an opening.
