Jeff Meade comes to American Heritage School with over a decade of Saxon math teaching experience in middle and high school levels as well as experience in civil and mechanical engineering. Prior to joining American Heritage, Mr. Meade taught all levels of middle school math at American Preparatory Academy in West Valley City, UT, and all levels of high school math, physics and chemistry for a tutoring service and home-school cooperative that he and his wife Wendy successfully administered for over ten years in Portland, Oregon (class sizes of 15-25 students per year). With a masters degree in Civil Engineering and a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, Mr. Meade taught math and engineering as a graduate teaching assistant at BYU, and has also worked professionally as a process engineer and surveyor. He and his wife Wendy (yes, our very own Mrs. Wendy Meade - who teaches Seventh Grade core!) are the parents of five children and live in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Mr. & Mrs. Meade are both thrilled to be working together again and feel like they are "home" at American Heritage where they can instruct students together in the light of the restored Gospel.
