Elementary Teacher’s Aide (Hourly/PT). Posted 6/29/2015. Assist teachers with classroom management, grading, teaching, and general teacher and student support. Bachelor's degree and experience teaching in school settings are preferred, but not required. Must have an enduring love of children and love of teaching. Must be supportive of the school’s LDS-oriented environment, and be willing and able to uphold and serve as a public representative of the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Position for 2015-16 school year, open immediately until filled.
Science Lab Aide Posted 05/28/15. PT/hourly. Responsibilities for this position include assisting with Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science and Biology labs. The aide would assist in setting up for labs, cleaning up the labs, helping to design the labs and assisting students who are conducting the labs. The aide would also assist the science teacher in other responsibilities including grading assignments, helping students who are struggling to grasp concepts and assisting during other hands-on activities. Must be supportive of the school’s LDS-oriented environment, and be willing and able to uphold and serve as a public representative of the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. It would be between 10-15 hours each week. The pay is $12/hour.
