Bachelor's degree and experience teaching in school settings are preferred, but not required. Must have an enduring love of children and love of teaching. Tutor for International Students at AHS (PT/Hourly) (posted 9/14/16): Preferable experience in tutoring students who speak English as a Second Language. Bachelor’s degree in English Language Learning preferred. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, love of teaching, and love of the Restored Gospel, and be willing and able to uphold the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Hours for this position are flexible and would be determined by the tutor and the student seeking tutoring. Pay varies and is set by the tutor but generally ranges from $15-$30/hour. If approved for this position, Administration at AHS would then give your name and contact information to International Students who need additional tutoring in order to successfully navigate their academic experience at AHS. Students would generally be in high school.

Front Office Administrative Assistant (hourly, mornings, 10 hrs/wk) (posted 9/7/16): Minimum two years’ experience in office support, management, and reception. Successful candidates will exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), combined with the ability to work well under pressure. Proficiency required with Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, internet browsers, and other document management and communication technology (Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs Applications, etc.). Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, love of teaching, and love of the Restored Gospel, and be willing and able to uphold the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Custodial & Facilities Maintenance Professional (FT/PT). Minimum two-years’ experience in custodial and facilities maintenance. Typical duties include not only custodial tasks but also performing basic building maintenance care, inspecting building and grounds to identify safety and security concerns, and other responsibilities as necessary. Successful candidate must be willing and able to uphold the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Competitive salary. This position is an on-call position. We accept applications for substitute teachers throughout the year.
