Admissions & Development Manager Posted 5/29/15, FT. The Admissions & Development Manager is an executive administrative position reporting to the Admissions Director and the Principal. Working in close collaboration with the Principal and Board of Trustees on strategy, and an enthusiastic group of faculty and parent volunteers on execution, the Admissions & Development Manager will plan and oversee admissions, development, marketing, and community outreach activities. He or she will have daily interaction with staff, faculty, students, parents and administrators in a busy school office, and attend American Heritage School functions outside the school day as required. Middle School/High School Spanish Teacher Posted 5/29/15, hourly (11 hrs/wk instruction time): Minimum two-years' experience, preferably in formal middle school and high school Spanish teaching setting, bachelors degree or higher preferred. Must have an enduring love of youth, love of teaching, and love of the Restored Gospel. Competitive hourly rate based upon experience. Teacher will teach beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish. Elementary Teacher’s Aide (Hourly/PT). Posted 6/29/2015. Assist teachers with classroom management, grading, teaching, and general teacher and student support. Bachelor's degree and experience teaching in school settings are preferred, but not required. Must have an enduring love of children and love of teaching. Must be supportive of the school’s LDS-oriented environment, and be willing and able to uphold and serve as a public representative of the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Position for 2015-16 school year, open immediately until filled.

Science Lab Aide Posted 05/28/15. PT/hourly. Responsibilities for this position include assisting with Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science and Biology labs. The aide would assist in setting up for labs, cleaning up the labs, helping to design the labs and assisting students who are conducting the labs. The aide would also assist the science teacher in other responsibilities including grading assignments, helping students who are struggling to grasp concepts and assisting during other hands-on activities. Must be supportive of the school’s LDS-oriented environment, and be willing and able to uphold and serve as a public representative of the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. It would be between 10-15 hours each week. The pay is $12/hour.

Cross Country Coach Posted 6/29/15. PT/hourly. Two-years' coaching experience preferably in middle or high school setting. Position for 2015-16 school year. Yearbook Editor/Designer Posted 06/17/2015 PT (4 hours a week M, T, Th, F). Responsibilities for this position include assisting the teacher with the high school Yearbook class and designing and creating the yearbook for the elementary school and high school. Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop preferred. Must be supportive of the school’s LDS-oriented environment, and be willing and able to uphold and serve as a public representative of the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus.

Lunch Room Lead (PT/hourly) Posted 05/27/15. Organize and co-ordinate lunch room helpers to assist in the lunch rooms. Responsible for monitoring student behavior during meal service. Assist with the cleanliness of the lunch room, and assist with the flow of meal service. Must be supportive of the school’s LDS-oriented environment, and be willing and able to uphold and serve as a public representative of the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus.
